BIOGRAPHY

Liz Lasater brings over three decades of experience in transportation and logistics, advising many Fortune 100 companies and other companies with fast growing, complex and high value supply chains in both the international and domestic arenas. She has deep experience and knowledge of the intricate and time sensitive supply chains in the technology, food & beverage, consumer products, consumer electronics, public works and renewable energy sectors.

Lasater founded Red Arrow, a 3PL company based in Bellevue, WA, and in just 6 years it was named among the top 10 of women-owned companies in the state of Washington, one of Women’s President Organization 50 Fastest™ growing women-led/owned companies in the United States, debuted in 2010, in INC Magazines top 5000 fastest-growing private companies at number1602 and was one of Puget Sounds top 50 privately held businesses.  In addition, Red Arrow was recognized as a Top 500 Small Business in America by Diversity Magazine, 2010-2018.   Red Arrow achieved a 95% customer satisfaction rating from Open Ratings, a Dun and Bradstreet Subsidiary. This record of excellence and growth has earned Red Arrow market-leading technology customers with their product launches, returns and urgent holiday fulfillment programs.

Prior to founding Red Arrow, Lasater served in senior management for Fritz Companies (acquired by UPS in 2001), SeaLand Logistics, APL Logistics, and supply chain providers in the technology service niche. Her areas of expertise include operations, information systems, supply chain execution, P&L management, and business development.

Lasater earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington. She has also completed Executive Supply Chain CEU courses through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Center for Transportation Studies, University of Washington Minority Business Executive Program, Digital Marketing, Tuck School of Business Dartmouth University and APICS CPIM Program.

Ms. Lasater believes in the importance of giving back to the communities where our employees work and live and as such, Red Arrow Logistics is an active supporter of several community organizations, including Alzheimer’s Association, Treehouse and Kiva.  Red Arrow also supports the Puget Sound Honor Flight in their efforts to send American veterans on “One Last Mission” to visit the memorials built in their honor in Washington, D.C.

Lasater is actively involved in supporting economic empowerment in the Northwest Region through her board service.  She served 7 years on the board of the Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition and on the Executive Committee as Treasurer.  The PNDC mission is to strengthen members’ business growth, the region’s economy, and our nation’s security.    She also serves on the Advisory Board of Win with Washington, an accomplished association of women-owned businesses focused on economic prosperity for the region, and The Center of Excellence for Aerospace and Advanced Manufacturing, whose mission is to create economic development opportunities and support for the aerospace sector.  The focus of each board is on the issues of workforce supply and development for the region. Moreover, she currently advises on curriculum and workforce development for Lake Washington Technical Institute Transportation & Logistics Management Program.
